I got a Saturday Night Fever and the only prescription is more Bee Gees.
Artists from all genres of music spread the Bee Gees love last night (Feb. 14) during the taping of an upcoming TV special, Stayinโ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Bee Gees.
Barry Gibb, the only surviving brother of the Bee Gees trio, was front row for the celebration of the 40-year anniversary of 1977โs Saturday Night Fever, a film that helped make John Travolta a star. The Bee Gees wrote and performed eight of the songs on the movieโs soundtrack, including โStayinโ Alive,โ โHow Deep Is Your Loveโ and โNight Fever.โ
An all-star cast of performers took part in the tribute, including Keith Urban (โTo Love Somebodyโ), Little Big Town (โHow Deep Is Your Loveโ) and Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett (โIslands in the Streamโ).
Stayinโ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Bee Gees will air on Easter Sunday, April 16, on CBS.
